This may be stupid question but here goes I have a set of 1940 rear hubs I know the bearing go in first but whats next? snap ring then rear seal then another snap ring? Does each rear hub require 2 snap rings and does the rear seal sit between them? Also whats the best way to press in the rear seal? Any help would be greatly appreciated? 27
I drive the seal in with a seal driver, works great. I always wondered why there were two grooves there though. Every one I've ever taken apart has only had the bearing, seal and one clip in it so that's how I reinstall them.
