Not sure on the year but I know something like that around here would fetch about 500-600 bucks.

  6. Not worth anything to me and this isn't the place to sell it. Post it on the classifieds for what you want for it and go from there.

Oh and its somewhere between a '46 and a '48. You'll need to show the grill and park lights parhaps.

Hard to say with the shape of that front end.
I think it's a decent sled candidate, but that's just from what I can see.

    Agree!
My first car. with in-line 6.
Were available with straight 8 or in-line 6.
    Valves in block.
Three speed, very few available with early hydromatic of the type used in Cadillac.

It could be a rare 42 but you'd need to see the grill. A 42 front clip would probably be worth more than a 46-48. IMHO, it's a parts car and not worth very much unless you have a Pontiac that needs the parts. Don't let it get crushed but don't expect to make a bundle on it.

    Pearl Harbor... Dec. 7 1941.

All the manufactures quit producing cars in early 42 to make airplanes and tanks etc. Low production numbers on any 1942 automobiles.

my apologies. I missed the obvious thinking there was something specific to this model Pontiac (I have a '41).

bless those that have served and serve for our country.
