My 63 Riviera needs a new or rebuilt centerlink, but unfortunately the only two that I have been able to locate are either $500 for a new one, or around $400 to have mine rebuilt plus shipping, plus 4 weeks to get it done. I could understand paying a little more than average for one since it's not "just a bar with holes in it" ,and it actually has two joints built into it, but do they really need to be that high in price. Does anyone know of any place I can find one at a more reasonable price? Since I'm in the DFW area if anybody knows of any place here locally that can rebuild one please let me know. THANKS
I know an old guy that has 4 or 5 early Rivi's sitting in the weeds. One might have a tight one. If your interested in checking it out and pulling your own parts. Let me know and I'll PM you his phone #. About 35 miles NW of Downtown Fort Worth.
I have a complete ch***is setting in the driveway if you are needing parts. It is a 64. When I say complete I mean I pulled the body off and rolled it outside.
I bought one from Kanter for my '64 Buick Electra 225, they list Riviera as exchange only for $280. http://www.kanter.com//catalog/prod...0&Vdr=&Itm=&MDv=1&MDpt=0&MSb=0&Cat=14&Prc=103
I may take you up on this. You have a PM Thanks, I'll go this route if I can't get one from another source.
Hi! Your Riviera looks really nice. How about posting some pics? The avatar picture is really small.. Hope that you'll find your center link too.
