Are you working with NOS rockers, used ones, or reproduction rockers? If they are reproduction, who made them? Is it a coupe or a sport sedan?

The original rocker panels are a compound curve. They curve out in the middle area. If your rockers a straight from end to end, you'll have a lot of work to make them fit. Only a few people make good ones and the best ones are for the coupe only.

    Hey,

Is the area @ the rocker to A Post intersection still intact? Whata bout the shotgun side of the vehicle @ the A & B Post? I'd hang & align the door on the left side, find a gap that you can live with, and hang your replaced rockers to match that fit. OEM measurements are great in theory, but if you're dealing with a build with multiple issues, measurements alone, won't get ya outa the woods!

    ^^^^

That's the way to do it... Gaps, align door, set the gaps.

    Hey,

The fact that the drivers side post needs work ain't a deal breaker! I'd still hang the left door, & get a good gap @ the B Post/striker area, at the top of the door, & at the A Post. Weld in a cross brace to hold the A & B posts ridgid, remove the door, tack weld in your rocker & floor repair, repair your A Post & tack it in, rehang the door & check the fit prior to final welding. This method will insure that the door & rocker fit the door opening.
