I'm startin to plan the repaint of my 55 Buick , and am lookin for some ideas/inspiration to get me started. I really dig the Watson style, and love flake. The car was factory black, so wouldn't mind going back to that as a base, and I'm going to shave the door handles and badges. Any ideas? Cheers, Jimbob
Nice car, can't help you with the photoshop though, maybe a dark blue body, with a light blue flake top, supremes and bellflower tips.

I dont know how you trimed it but it looks like a retarded miget now. I think you should leave it red and add some flake to the roof
retarded midget? Not a fan of customs I guess? Standard chop, section, and shorten. Same kind of "traditional"***** people's been doing since the '20s.
No I love customs But know ugly sectioning looks like***** on most cars and I cant recall the last time Ive seen a standard shortening. Unless it was someone who could'nt afford a two door. Now dont start arguing with me over what "Traditional" is ugly is ugly and second its all semantics. My oppinion anyway wich is the only one that maters to me.
Thanks for the input guys. I'd drawn upa few with scallops similar to those posted. I really love the red one in the link posted by lowsprings, that thing is KWEL. Will keep you posted with what I decide to do. Cheers, Jimbob
slamminpappy I saw your car at BTT50's last year and loved it. Took quite a few photos. More impressive in person than the photo shows. Great ride.
I like the idea to take it back to black, but shave the handles & emblems, and go with a cool deep purple flake roof. Keep the stock side trim- It's******in' already, and is SO Buick... Scotch~!
I think you are both wrong! It's not a midget or a Kustom........Its a Buick trying to be a 58 Corvette in Roman Red and Polo White!! All you need now are some Polo White alcoves!! I''d go with the purple with scallops! YUMMY!! xx Brandy
If it is as nice in person as it is in the pic, leave the paint alone! Just do the roof in a complimentary color.
I'm thinking the black with green scallops and skirted would look REAL good. Of course bagged, slammed, and de-trimmed.
