OK, so my new '32 frame is in, welding party soon! So, what do I do with it appearance wise?

Obviously I could go down the long road of bodywork and paint on my '29, but I want to drive it ASAP! It {and the flathead} look beautiful surface rusted and unrefined. Do I really want to rust my new frame to look appropriate now, just to regret it later if I decide to have a finished ride someday? Maybe just paint the frame semi-gloss black and let it get dirty and rock chipped?

    Advice? Opinions? THANKS! John

    That's probably my best option.

I would go ahead and powder coat it and call it a day. Hell, even a clear coat that way it *appears* just unfinished.

I'd rather have my toys protected as best as I can.

No sense in doing it twice.
