at least on the bike build offs when we still had Indian Larry he would build his engine, most of the time it was some cross breed of two different ones, pan on one head and shovel on the other or something like that, also Chica likes to get into the motors and cock around too, not sure if we have others too

What about the telephone booth that Boyd Coddington bought and cut up? I was shocked that these historical articles are stil being cut up. Arent there any around that were mangled that can be resurrected? I mean even the truck that Mike built was from original metal. I can't believe all this...
What happens when all the cars that were original and stock get used up? Do we move to musem articles next?

Now wait a minute... Don't anyone get me wrong. I am all for chopping cutting channeling and even those Altereds with the funny looking wheel base.
But if a car survived 30, 40, even 100 years without being wrecked, or customized, shouldn't it be in a museum some where? I think we should use already cut up cars for customizin.

Guess my age is why I dont understand... See sig.

    Yeah.

It's already happened. Here is what I posted on page 5 of this thread...

If the destruction of that A made you cry, wait until you see the '36 Ford coupe that BOYD fucks up in an upcoming episode of American Hot Rod. The car was bought from a FUCKING MUSEUM. That's right a Museum and they sanded off some paint, through dirt all over it, broke the windshield and made it a "barn car". This thing was nicer than my '36 when my Dad bought it 40 years ago. I tried to buy the interior out of it but have not been able to put a deal together yet. The whole thing seriously disgusts me and if they paint if BOYDFUCKINGRED (TM), I am going to go insane.

I thought that JJ showed a lot of class by dedicating the end to the "pup" first time I really respected the guy.

    What are you guys, restorers?

Model A sedans grow on trees, so what if it was $16,000 and in lovely condition. The car's worth a lot more now that it's all fucked up.

You ever had the displeasure of being stuck behind a parade of stock Model As going down the road? The novelty wears off as soon as you realize it took you ten minutes to go one mile.

    Putt Putt, my ass.

I thought all along that at the end we would see "Peg" show up with a strap on peg leg mount made by Indian Larry's leather guy.
Too bad she died, JJ does seem to love animals, he should have smashed that SOB that was faking the Big One .
