I have ordered from Summit and Jegs for that matter pre-internet days and found both to be very good in that area. Glad to see they have not changed.

I've always had good experiences with Summit. Even had a guy on the phone looking up parts and answering my questions for about 30 minutes one time BEFORE I spent a dime with 'em.

There is a Summit in Reno, 60 miles from me. I buy there as often as I can. I can order online or by phone and wait til I have other reasons to go to Reno, then pick up my parts at the counter without having to go through the "line".

There service is very good and they accept returns on incorrect parts, regardless of who ordered wrong.

Poor peps.....Summit is only two exits down the express way from me. Funny thing..I never go there. But I would have to guess that since I will be starting some kind of car soon, that will change. Do you think they have parts for my 354 hemi?

Thanks to Brad at Summit (Ohio), I was able to get my car together in time for Pinks All Out at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH. Without his support I would have never made it. And let me also say that the people at Summit are "Car People" and not just another business just looking to get your money. When I had issues trying to get the car done in time, they pulled out all the stops by basiclly giving a **** that the car got done PERIOD! They even took time out to call me (unexpectedly) to make sure that everything was going alright and wanted to know if there was anything else that they can do, this was not just business this was personal. I can't thank them enough!

You said it right , along with very cheap shipping and No Tax it saves a bunch of money and the parts always semm to arrive about 5 minutes after I hang up the phone !!! I live in NorCal and it is like they are psychic and know what I want and have it waiting around the corner .

I wanted a couple of residual brake line valves for my project, so I went online to Summit's site and found them. The problem was, the fittings they showed were incorrect, so I called their Customer Service and explained the problem. The Service Rep knew exactly what I was talking about and asked me to wait a mimute. When he got back on the line after a few minutes, he d me I was correct, the pictures on their webite were incorrrect, but the correct fittings were included with the valves. He had gone and picked one out of stock and checked the package for me. I'd say that was pretty damn good Customer Service!

Summit has always been good to me, great customer service(if they dont know, they'll tell you somebody who does), fast shipping, and good prices.

Just a tip for all you fellow hot rodders, the Ebay Summit store is cheaper than their site AND there catalogue.

I ordered a set of rings from them last year & it was one short. They sent a new box & said to take whatever I needed & return the rest. Postage paid both ways

Sold me a defective set of Goodyear frontrunners. Said they'd sell me a replacement set at half off. Seems to me they should have exchanged the faulty set for a good set.
That's not the kind of customer service I expect. I'll deal with JEGS and Speedway in all my future dealings.

Yes, Summit customer service is excellent.

    Jegs... nnnot so much...

Lets just say Jegs dropped the ball and Summit picked it up!

Have not used Jegs since. Ten years ago.

I've been using Summit since it was a walk-in speedshop the size of a 7-11. Good people.

Yeah great place, bought a cam they recommended and when it didnt work they were nice enough to offer a 10% discount on the next order, but wouldnt do anything about the cam.

    lets do the math,,,

    cam: $250
    gaskets $20
    labor $400

$670 out of my pocket, so to break even I would have to order $6700 worth of ****. No thanks and never deal with them again.

This is age-old and futile. The law of averages says that post-marketing activity (comments/satisfaction) will display only two results: those who are "very satisfied" and those who are "very unsatisfied." It's rare for someone to comment on service that generally met their expectations. Just sayin'.

Many of the parts for my '32 5 Window Coupe build have come from Summit Racing Equipment. Their Tallmadge, OH store is the one closest to me. Have always had good service, no h***le returns and parts either in stock or shipped when I need them. We have also been attending the June Summit Motorsports Park races at Norwalk, OH and have been impressed with everything Summit puts their name on. Keep Up The Good Work!:):):)
