model A tranny and exhaust question

    Hi there, Ive got this engine from a '30 model A. Can somebody tell my why the exhaust manifold looks like this and not like the typical "tube" style ive seen on others

    Also, pulled this ****** out of a '31 5window coupe. Whats the lever on the shifter? Is this a truck ****** with PTO?

    The manifold is after market for a heater, I think its an autolite. No idea on the trans.

    The lever is the reverse lockout for the 4 speed crash box.
