    Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone had any pictures from my grandfather's service station which was located on the corner of Muddy Branch and Travilah Road in Rockville MD. I have some but it is always great to see what others have. My grandfather was called Wimpy and also raced a deuce ford sprint car called "the little indian", thanks ahead for anything anyone has.

  2. Sorry, can't help you with any pics. Post up some of the ones you have and tell us more about your grandfather. Sounds like an interesting character. By the way, I was just up in Libertytown a week ago. Sure is some beautiful countryside you have up there.....Don.

You can ask that question on Cheesepitstop.com and Primarily Petrolina @ old gas.com too. I can't help as to the specifics of every old station thats out there . I might be able to give an idea if I knew what years , etc........... scrubba

  7. my county's historical society has MANY old pictures on their website , some going back to the 1800's. i'm sure many other counties have resources like this too

here is one taken in 1931 of the 20 millionth Ford produced , at a park in the middle of my town . the park is still there , as is the building in the background...i go by it all the time
