Hauled in a freebie the other day...

    Afarmer gave this to me , wasnt a whole lot left , but I couldnt let what was good set in the pasture anymore. The best part....FREE !!!

    Nah , really it wasnt , really , reaaly rough , frame weak , no floors , you could nearly push thru any part of the body , but , the price was right...

    Pulled some bits and sold the hulk for s****, correct???

    Can't save everything...thats the way it goes.

    Yea , I pulled everything that was feesibly good off of it , sent the rest to the great chevy yard in the sky.....

    It would have gone to China COMPLETE if you hadn't have gotten to it first!
    Obviously the farmer had tired of looking at it.
    Hope you made a good haul from it!!! :D

    Afew pieces ended up on my car , (avatar) , a few ended up on my friend's '50 more-door project(since he helped get it , he paid the same price I got it for...lol) , the rest left with a decent runner I sold (chrome only left over by then) , a decent haul for me and my buddy.:D

    Cool freebie....unfortunately that is what is happening to ALL the hoarded cars and parts the old guys claim they are going to "build" some day...if he would have giventhat to you 10-15 years ago you probably could have built it. Another piece of Americana lost...
     
  15. that is the same type of business coupe that I did my first roof chop on. I'm glad at least some of it was was salvagable
