    Hey all,

Well I've been lurking around this forum for long enough, I thought I might as well go ahead and introduce myself.

I'm a Melbourne - Australia based Illustrator and designer with a (depending to who you talk to un)healthy obsession with Cars (particularly rods) and fabrication.

So I mostly do brushed ink illustrations of cars, babes, and other weird gear. I'll attach a couple of pics for you.

If any of you were at huff-a-rama yesterday (?) you may have seen one of my artworks go up for auction for Bo's cancer fund. If you were there and recognise my artwork could you let me know how it went? I'm a little sh!t scared that no-one would bid on it, I'm really hoping that it raised something for Bo...

    My artwork:

There's heaps more on my website if your interested: www.malicious.com.au its currently getting a refresh so its not as up-to-date as I'd like just yet.

So I was up until recently building a 1950 Plymouth Special Delux 4door, but have just found some near extensive rust in the body. So its on hold until I can get a professional to fix the major rust problems up. So hopefully that will restart early next year. Just looking to build a low n load family friendly sled for going to car shows ect.

So past that I've just finished building a bobber inspired pushy:

AND my partner and I have recently had a baby son. While we don't have a worthy car on road yet I figure thats no reason my son can't! So today I started building a pusher/pedal car hot rod for my boy. Here are some pics of the build so far and a pic of a 5 minute 'mock up' of what I'm thinking.

    Cheers

Hey guys, wow thanx for the warm welcome :) Neatherland too! I'm 50% dutchy myself, my olma an olpa moved out here not long after the war.

Bondo and expander foam... Wow. Thankfully our plym isn't so bad. It's had some dodgy repairs, tack welded metal sheets over rust holes then body filler to hide it. But there's enough to be out of my depth! All respect to metal body workers.

Don't worry about beer! I'm all stocked up for a summer of wrenchin'! ;)

What's the go with Friday art? Just post something up on a Friday? Is there any 'rules'?

Thanx mate, the ford(?) in our avatar yours? Cool as colour choice! I think Nix's minny rod will probably be black with flames, cliche but ****** it.
