I've been a unregistered drop-in for a couple of years, but finally got around to joining. I just bought a basket case '56 Plymouth, so I figured I'd better register so I can pick brains as I attempt to get the old Belvedere back on the road. Been a Mopar owner for 55 years, and many of them have been mild customs and restifications, but only one hotrod. It was a '55 Plymouth with a 331 Chrysler Hemi...I broke it. As long as I have adequate power, I prefer making mods to the body, especially the interior. Though the exterior is nearly stock, the '73 Dodge D100 that I bought new, has interior parts from a '91 Ram, '65 Polara, '68 Fury, '70 Duster, '76 Cordoba, '79 Aspen, '87 LeBaron, '90 New Yorker, mid-90s FWD L-body, '03 Grand Caravan, '07 Grand Caravan, Vintage Air, and a bunch of home-fabricated parts. The '56 will be another Johnny Cash "one piece at a time" creation, but I haven't yet decided what all I'll be doing to it. I hope to post some "before" pictures soon, but I'll probably die of old age before any "after" pictures are taken. However, the journey should be fun.
