    Ok all you Metro-Detroit HAMBers,
I've found this old garage, looks like it dates back to the 1950's or so. It's filled with old artifacts from days gone by, and is about to be demolished :(

It's located on Grand River Ave, by Providence Hospital right off of I96

    Anyone know anything?

Find out if you can g in before demo and clean it out. Find the owner and offer the service for free. That would make a really cool private shop.

Wow!!! What a period piece. I am constantly considering buying something like that around here (making sure there are no abandoned fuel storage tanks on the premises) and just updating the systems (hydraulic hoists, compressor, etc) and using it for a hobby shop. Be a place for the rest of the ne'er-do-wells (my dearly departed mother's term for nearly all my hotrodder buddies back when) to hang around, work on cars, lose stuff, etc.

Your directions are wearin on me some. "Located on Grand River just west of Grand River..." What town bro? I work on Grand River just west of Beech Daly. You talkin Farmington? The address looks like it. Ain't nothin for me to drive over and get some details for ya. Ya wanna buy it or you lookin to cherry pick? I'm not interested in beating you to it, just to be clear. Depending on city/township/county the records are public.

I've seen the place too. It is on Grand River west of Novi Road.

That would make a great private shop/man cave. If I was single I'd buy one and convert it into my home.
