Just wondering if anyone has heard any update about the release and shipping of this book ? I'm sure it will be worth the wait, but I'd sure like to receive mine.

    Hey Lowsquire,
Thanks for the input ........ but I'm jealous, you got an email. Had you contacted them previously, so they had your number? Well, guess we just keep waiting.

Have you tried calling them? 1-800-750-9550 Or maybe email them? www.roddersjournal.com . I'd think they'd have a much better answer than any of us. It's a slow boat from China nowadays...........Mike

    Shoeboxdriver -

How many Rodder's Journal- Deuce:75 of the Finest- book threads are you gonna start? :D

I can appreciate your frustration about the book not being shipped yet (I bought mine in April as well) ... but starting another thread about it won't get it to your door any faster.

Did you read TRJ's Sept. 20th reply in your other thread? ...

    From today's TRJ e-mail newsletter:

Deuce Book: Printing is Now Complete

    photo.jpg photo_1_.jpg photo_2_.jpg

The Deuce book is one step closer to being sent out to our customers...printing is now complete! Shown here at the printing facility are the pallets of the final printed pages to complete the print run of 3200 copies. Before the pages could be bound, publisher, Steve ****an, signed the first page of 1100 copies that were pre-ordered when we first announced the sale of the book. Once the book is bound, boxed and shipped to our warehouse we will be turning around all pre-orders as quickly as possible.

If you have yet to order your copy, do so today to have your book included in the initial shipping.

The editorial staff and production team worked overtime to create and combine all of the elements of this book, and ended up adding even more heavily researched material to at the last minute. As each printed sheet came off the press, every image was carefully checked to make sure it was up to our high standards for color, clarity, and quality.

We are incredibly proud of this book, and believe it to be our best effort to date. We are confident that you will agree. From the rare opportunity to photograph many of the top 75 Deuces in the studio to the in depth historical research and updates written by hot rod authorities, this book is not only the quintessential book for '32 Ford fans, it is a must-have for every hot rodder!

I got mine today! It's the ****. #0449. The number is also stamped on the outer cardboard box that it comes in. It was worth the wait as always. TRJ is my hero!

  19. Mine arrived Saturday ...#0203.
Superbly done in every way-even the packaging was top-notch. Once again, I will continue to buy TRJ and their specials sight-unseen forever as they have a 15 year history of never disappointing me. TRJ is proof that print media can survive when it is executed in a top-notch manner by people of immense talent and unfaltering p***ion. Well done folks, well done...
