I love it, its my wallpaper in my computer. Tell me more about the headlights and the bar. Stock 32 lights and a modified headlight bar? Great Job!

Just reminiscing while looking back at this thread.

We are the proud owners and just wanted all of you to know that it hasn't been painted. Added a Lebaron top and DRIVE IT! Clocked 17K miles on it the first calendar year. Managed to drive out to LARS last year (4000 miles), been to Austin 4-5 times, cruising the coast and is driven locally on average 4 days a week!

T-5 tranny and flathead combo is a dream. 330 gears, 75mph, 20 mpg. After sorting out, reliability has been a non-issue. Motor is 304 inch, 400 jr cam, 2X2 LZ Strombergs. Simply runs great! 12K miles on current plugs, oil consumption (with leakage) is 1/2 qt every 4K miles.

Recently pulled apart and had all chassis and components powdercoated (we live in a swamp). Back together and since been to Lone Star Roundup.

Can't say enough about the fab stuff done by Bruces Rod Shop. The proof's in the pudding.....they build practical stuff made to be driven!

Not bragging...just simply VERY happy (LUCKY) owners! SPT_9080_small.jpg

  12. Congrats on your car.

Very nice - proportions are perfect. If that were mine I would be too stoked to drive it - you couldn't get my butt out of the seat long enough to get it painted unless you had a drive thru spray booth.

  17. Even unfinished it looks great, no doubt the customer was absolutely estactic about taking it for a quick spin before paint.

    Thanks for sharing..

This is a classic case of what makes the Hamb what it is! It's about the beauty of the American Automobiles and the people that love them. Thanks guys for all the input, and to the builders, "Class act"...

What a great looking car! Wasn't it Baskerville that said "stance" is everything? This car has "stance" in spades! Beautiful job!

So ya'll are the lucky owners...saw it and probably left drool marks on it when it was parked in Bay St. Louis during Cruisin the coast...my wife had to drag me away...wondered what was under the hood...

Ah yes, I remember the day you told me that! I also remember the look on your face when I started explaining how I'd mount the mud flaps!

This is the second time I've seen this back up recently.. But I'm not surprised. This is easily one of my favorite deuces.

    Picture of it from LSRU.
