I know that everyone will definitely have an opinion on this one ... PPG vs. Dupont vs. House of Kolors, etc. I'm wondering who has used PPG Vibrance Collection "Liquid Crystal" paint and what their experience has been? I'm considering using their Cabernet 3ct color. Good or bad - tips &/or suggestions? How about pictures of your finished rides? Thanks.

well, how good of a painter are you? Tri-coats are a pain in the *** to me....if they are not laid down just perfect, they usually look like ****. Also have you priced Vibrance?
Very spendy. Both PPG and Dupont make some nice stuff, haven't used much HOK...if you are a beginner, you would be better off using a bc/cc.
What kind of car is it going on?

All three of those would be good choices. As far as which one would be best for you would depend on the local support that your dealers provide.

I'm not an experienced painter, but I have shot Dupont Hot Hues, PPG Deltron and Vibrance, and HOK. The Dupont is OK, but the finish wasn't as nice as I'd hoped. The Vibrance was bad ***. Great finish, went on easy, very good paint. But the price! WHOA! When it came time to do my car, Billy (Slowandlow63) recommended HOK. Billy shot that car, and the HOK was an amazing quality and value, as it was a fraction of the cost of the Vibrance. HOK can get pricey too, but you can still put a show quality finish down for reasonable sum.
