I saw these on a caddy milled A at the SK500. I'm putting going with a 2x4 setup and I'd really like to get a set of these cleaners but I don't know what they are called or where to find them. Thanks alot!

Im purty sure that the patern is just some decorative aluminum sheet stock. You can buy that (or order it) from metal shops, or even some large hardware stores.

Actually other than the base and cover of a pretty common round type air filter
i see a home made mesh out of patterned sheet metal that you can buy at any hardware
store, at least here in italy/europe.
i know cause i did get a sheet of that and made a table lamp cover!
There are a few designs w/ all the playin cards aces, even one w/ all o'them
    if i remember right.

If you are still looking for the answer for this issue, look no further.
Its just a basic stainless steel wire mesh material that can be easily purchased.

The base can be built from a plastic or vinyl material.

You can buy that mesh here for a very good price:

Or you can buy that guy's kitchen door!

Stainless or wire mesh with some small flat top chrome 4 barrel air cleaners. I think Cal custom or one of those chrome goodie purveyors did sell them but it's easy enough to make your own with the right tops and bottoms for the carbs.

    Either http://www.amazon.com/Spectre-4780-...5?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1291234455&sr=1-35

    http://www.amazon.com/Trans-Dapt-Ch...6?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1291234531&sr=1-36

Those links were more for the photos and part numbers than suggesting that you buy from them.

Anybody ever see the 'V8' pattern screen for air cleaners?
It was popular 30 or 40 years ago but very rare today.
