I wish I could find a picture of my 32 when it was racing around Nebraska. I was told it was raced in California also,

These are from Cordova Illinois in 1972(?). And yes I know that difference between a g***er and an altered, fenders and no fenders, but I had the scanner warmed up and thought the two altereds were pretty cool.

heres another pic of mine, got the 57 chevy posi rear mocked up in her and bolted on the slicks in the rear, my yellow plexi gl*** showed up to, so i had to cut a window out and put it in to see what it looks like.

  16. Many thanks to Kiwi Kev for posting these photos. This is the same '32 Plymouth 3 window as shown in #68. First owned by G***er legend Gene Altizer and run with sponsorship from S&S Speed Shop in the late 50's and early 60's. Gene sold it to my old friend Bill Kauffman who kept the g***er look but drove in on the street for many years in to the late 70's. The coupe was dis***embled for a rebuild, but sold before completion. I believe the car is back on the road, but without it's g***er look and equipment.

  24. one fact that no one stated is g***ers were allowed 10% engine set back altereds 25% also in an altered bodies could be set back

  25. it's not ******** a g***er is a g***er,an altered is an altered and a street freak is a street freak and they are all different and cannot be interchanged

Thanks for the update.I fell in love with this car when i saw it in a Chrysler book i have from 1973.I wondered what happened to it.I saw a car on ebay a long while ago that had a drilled visor.I wondered if it was the same car. When i bought my 34 Plymouth coupe i have now i was looking for a 1932 PA coupe like Bills.I would still like to biuld a duplicate of this car except with a Mopar motor.

check out vol. 10 (x) of Hop Up Mag. There are a couple pics of my 3-window running B-Gas at Arlington, Wa. in '63. The car was owned by Tom Valentine.......My all time favorite is still Harry Luzaders 5-window..........He drove it 75 mi. to the track, went 120 in high 'levens.....then drove her home. (circa 62,63)
