memory of a bonneville coupe/help identify

Yrars ago there was a beautiful red/copper modified coupe with a hood/nose made from two 40 Ford Deluxe hoods--the body was a severely chopped model A coupe with a drastically altered/laid back windshield. The car was built for Bonneville, but may have had another career in drag racing. I believe the car was featured in several magazines, possibly Rodders Journal or Rod and custom. Any help identifying the car and the magazines would REALLY be appreciated BILL RINALDI

If you get HD theater, they had some cool pictures and such on the American Icon show in the Bonneville episode

 

Theres a shot of it on a thread on the Aussie DLRA site. A guy was here for Bonneville and El Mirage last year. Took some interesting shots.
