I am glad to say I sold my 1930 Model A sport coupe that was on it's way to becoming a roadster. In order to purchase a Model A Victoria body. I have always wanted to build one of these. But I really would like to see them with a chop and fender less because that is the way I plan to build this one.
Does anybody remember a HRM feature car club drag machine that belonged to the Vulcans Car Club? I believe it was purple, channelled, '32 vicky and had a blown Chrysler with helicopter carbs. I would have put it in the top 75 '32 Fords.
I am trying to keep focused on the Model A truck at the moment. But the Vicky is always on my mind. I also painted the windshield frame for the scout but for some reason it came out a different shade of greenish blue, more blueish. So I am going to get enough remixed so I can reshoot the windshield frame again.
My buddy Chris. The car was an OG hot rod from the fiftys. He had to marry into the family to get it. -Abone.
When I was a youngster, I remember buying that issue & reading about that car. It was nothing spectacular, but for some reason the "Vulcan's Vicky" thing stuck in my mind. Now, every time I hear someone talk about a Vicky, the Vulcans' Vicky thing starts rattling around what's left of my brain. It's funny how little insignificant things follow you around for many years. Maybe it's my "Rosebud?"
