This project actually started a month after I bought the car. Couldn't stand the vinyl top so it was taken off and I decided to have the roof flaked. Well, It didn't stop there. After that I just decided to pull the whole car apart and do a mild custom with it. I'm a big Reverend Horton Heat fan so hence the name that I gave the car. It's not finished but I thought I would start a thread to show what I have been working on. I completly stripped the car minus pulling off the frame. Paint wise I hand stripped the doors, hood, interior trim, roof, dash. The bodywork and paint was done by a good friend that I owe a huge deal of respect and gra***ude to. The hood after being stripped and primed Loverdude and I the little helper louvered the hood. She's shaved and smoothed and is starting to look great. You get the picture. Lots of pics. I hope everyone enjoys. Any questions just ask.
Picture link to the bmp file is the way I bought the car. Ok so here's the complete link of progress pics. I would like to thank 54pumpjack for having a photobucket page and keeping better track of pictures than I have of his skills at the bodywork and paint side of things. Once again thanks for looking and enjoy! http://s827.photobucket.com/albums/zz196/kmoon1965/lukes car/
