    Some days you just dont get as much done as you wanted. but the tranny mount is coming along.

    First time front end install... Ohh clean new parts...

    We heated up the seal and bearing adapter so it would slide right on. glowing blue hot and slid right on.

    Next we took a torch a black smudged the area... why might you ask. well next i MIGed some tack welds to the bearing race that needed to be removed. the black smug keeps the slag from the MIG from sticking to any parts. THANKS Jamie, kool trick. the heat from the MIG made the race slide ride out with just a slight tap. Then installed the new race.

    next all the rotor bits and pieces. this is just mock up so we didn't pack and bearings...

    spin the rotor while tightening the nut.

    brake caliper is next, mockup so no pads yet. i decided to flip the bones for clearance reasons.

    Front end looks good, looks like i need to notch the front for more clearance.

    well didn't have much time over turkey vacation to check the H.A.M.B, had the shop heated up and stuck up some new shelves and found some time to finish the drivers quarter window and get a door top on the 35, and yes I will be there and try to out eat the 2 fella's that beat me!!!

    Round shock eye mount for the wish bones. that is red reflecting from the frame bench not a contaminated weld...

    It looked fairly contaminated to me.......just kidding. Welds look great Curt. Good thing I showed you how to make it look good.
