tranny pan bolt torque

    What is the proper torque for the filter screws and pan bolts on a turbo 350?

    pan to case bolts 13 ft lbs
    the filter not sure always just snugged them up with a 1/4 drive ratchet
    hope that helps

    13 ft/lbs sounds a little steep for me...GM spec is 94 in/lbs for cork gasket and 97 in/lb for paper.

    10-12 ft lbs Is what I learned

    Had a brain fart..if the cork gasket has those metal spacers in it, then 10 to 12 would be about right.

    i never use cork gaskets i guess i should have elaborated
    13 was right out my gm unit repair manual
