I'm Obee, from pittsburgh, Pa...my old man owned a towing/ repair shop here, used to race old style stock cars (coupes).from 50s-63, I came along in 61 & spent all my time at the shop..when i was old enough, I asked the old man to buy me a car..he led me out to the yard & said" you want one...build it..."so...I grabbed a 67 Impala fastback, swapped in a 327 from a 66 'vette, and drove the wheels off of it....that was followed by several 57 chevys, a 69 camaro..I met a guy, Dan Turack, who collected old cars from the late 50s on, kept them on a farm, near hear in Delmont..he had over 375 vehicles from 1917 to 1980s...and hanging with him started me collectting..Dan passed 3 years ago, and the family auctioned off most of the cars...I bought a few, sold off some and kept a 51 chevy 2dr, which is slated for rebuild...I also currently have:

1917 Steel T roadster, 300 Buick power, needs finished

    1927 T Sedan shortened,sectioned, channelled, project(The Ebay car)

1928 A Modified, cut down coupe, just started

    1930 A coupe,chopped 4 1/2" channelled 4" Dropped ft axle,40 juice brakes,57 ford rear,48 ford f-1 steering, slated for sbc

1931 Chevy rdster old Rodbenders club car, 235 6cyl, 3spd, 57 rear, found in a field

1940 Ford 2 dr sedan, sitting on s-10 chassis

1941 Cadillac 4 dr project car

1941 Plymouth bus .cpe, on 54 chevy chassis w/ camaro subframe

    1949 Frazer sedan

    1949 Chevy 1/2 ton

    1950 Chevy 4dr fleetline, 235 engine

1951 Chevy Bus. cpe 327/350 th, 57 rear, owned since 1985, always in blk suede

    1955 Ford F-350 tow truck,312 y-block

    and a few other oddballs...

I built a replica of the Dragula in '89, toured it on the isca tour til 99 sold it to a guy in S.Carolina, where it sits in his living room....hoping to start on a new one soon....We are just relocating our shop, so hopefully, we will be building again soon. hope this wasnt too long but i wanted to answer as many ?? as I could...:D

Where are you relocating your shop to? In Pittsburgh area? 331caddy is right we need to hang out. I am in a local car club as is 331caddy, Sacred Piston Car Club, we hang out, go to cruises, swap meets, work on cars in our warehouse in Millvale and drink beer, not always in that order but if it is old and needs fixed we are doing something to it. Check out our website, we are in process of changing hosts and not sure if any cars are on it yet but some stuff is. www.sacredpiston.com
