What does FED stand for? What does FNG stand for?

 

FED would be big brother, the government.

There are a lot of new guys on this web site. Maybe the owners should set up a dictanary for us. There is no charge for additional letters in a post. This is not a texting site and we are not on cell phones. I am here to learn from you ofg (old f guys).

I don't even know why we say FED. Theres only one kind of dragster, the one with the engine in front of the driver. Where the nitro goddess (she) intended. Lippy

 

Apparently these people who campaigned rear-engined dragsters in the late 50s through the 60s weren't informed of the "fact" that the only kind of dragster is an FED.

I would also suggest that Don Garlits, who brought the "modern" rear-engine dragster to the forefront 40 years ago after losing half of his right foot in an explosion, would disagree with you as well.
