I took out the teeth on my '51 and now am looking to make the headlights not so bug-eyed. Maybe french them in some or maybe something altogether different. Anyone got any pics of some different ideas for this?

I don't have any pics but an old trick for the '55 and older F-100 grilles is to use the '56 headlight buckets and headlamp doors (rings). They are recessed just a little behind the grille opening. The only big modification is in the panel behind the grille - the headlight bucket sticks out behind the grille about 3/4".

Someone had picks of a green one that was in the works sometime ago. Had lots of work to the grill and lights I think. If I recall right it was a friend of theirs truck. I would like to see whatever happened to that one.

    Thanks Upchuck!

I'd like to see other ideas as well. I recently picked up a grill center from KIRK! that I plan on putting in between the lights (disguising the 'turn' signals).
