WOW. Must be good if it goes on the kitchen wall instead of pinned on the fridge door!:p

Here's how the grade curve worked at mom's house.
F:Go let your father see this
D:On the counter till it gets tossed for being in the way
C:On the fridge door with a magnet
B:On the freezer door at eye level.
    A:On the wall
A+:On the wall over kitchen table right by where her friends sat when they came for coffee!

I have to work on thursday, but I get out at 1:30. I plan to leave from my work place, and drive to Cobo, should be there by 3:00. I took a vacation day for friday, I plan to be there before 10am. I will be bringing my a couple of my non-HAMB buddies, Derek and Brian (aka boobhater). I do not know if I will make it down to the saturday night party. See everybody next weekend. -Joe

Kustombuilder is heading over Thursday with HotRodDrummer....I'll be following behind in my truck somewhere between them and Bob :) I think we're going to the show Saturday also, and then will probably head to your house for a bit Denise....Anything specific you'd like me to bring?

    Thanks for the update!!

I'll definitely be at the show - just not sure which day(s) yet! I'll also be swinging by the party sat night, but probably not until 10-ish, when I'm sure everyone will already be good-n-sloppy.

I have that Friday off if anyone needs a hand thurs evening/friday for setting up!

I'm kind of amazed by the ambition of folks traveling from far off lands to the mecca that is COBO. I guess a long winter without hot rods makes for some very restless folks. I know I'm looking forward to it. But I only need to drive like 20 minutes.

You and hubby wouldn't happen to be friends with Kenny Holmes by any chance, would you??

Kris, downstairs at my place is a large table already set up that I paint on. Your more then welcome to use it during the party to get a lesson or two and do some practicing. There's good light there, plenty of room to work and plenty of space to let something dry. In fact, if anyone else wants to paint at the house or just bring stuff to sell or trade, by all means, feel free.

You'd probably have better luck if they were old rusty coolers with a flying eyeball painted on the side.

I do have 2 old 50's coolers, one with rust, neither with flying eyeballs painted on them... They're heavier than hell, and I don't think a pan of brownies would fit in them though :(

Hey Denise, Krooser and I should be running around there sometime on Saturday I think, should be a good time as long as my leg doesn't spontaiously combust like it did at the Pile Up.

You can paint anything in my house thats not standing still. :D What would be especially cool is the door to my computer/car memorablia room. It's already painted white and would look awesome with some lines from different folks at the party.

Looking forward to seeing you again sweetie! As I said before, Dennis Scott thought I was kidding when I mention having additional fire extingishers available downstairs! :D

Yea, fire extingishers would be a welcome site! I'll just have my personal midget butler follow me around with one.

All this talk of having people over to stripe your stuff made me think of Tom Sawyer and the white washed fence.

It occured to me that since all this talent would be in town, I could invite you all to stripe the aluminum siding on my house. But, it's up for sale, and that would only appeal to a certain type of home buyer. And my previous attempts to sell the place as a "Hot Rodder's Summer Home" really didn't seem to fly.
