I believe you guys are right about the tires, I read they were truck tires capped and shaved also, and the skull did start as his wifes wok, I know the eyes open with the throttle and the nose is hooked to the purge for the nitrous system. Personally I like the color but think the skull was better as bare metal.

The Skull should be painted white.
Other than that, I really really like it.

....Then on the other hand, I really appreciate cars that are driven ALOT.
The defibrillator doesn't look like its driven a lot.

Its a shame to make something look that mean and in reality, it probably never sees speeds above 20 mph. Somebody tell me I'm wrong....PLEASE. [IMG] [IMG] I want to see that thing smokin' those rear meats and that skull screamin' for its mummy.

.......It must be cool though, after all its got "Bobbleed" headers. [IMG]

I am glad he built it just for the entertainment value alone it is worth it. I had a chance to sit in this car last year and was surprised how how low this car was, it is pretty cool.
A couple of years ago, Ryan put a 'Gear Pad' section on the TJJ. These were a couple of the concepts, I don't know if there was any influence, but ya never know.

My dad met the guy that built it this summer at the Good guys west coast nationals in Pleasanton. The owner told my dad that the tires were semi truck tires recapped into slicks, also my dad asked him about the extremely oversized quickchange rear and he said he made that as well out of a 9", I think the fabrication on this thing is unreal. I love it.

I'm the owner of the Defibrillator...you cannot imagine driving this beast with your head sticking out of the roof and looking out over that big old 392 Hemi with the skull spraying NOS out thru the nose! It was a thrill cruising it around Pleasanton! The comments on the headers are missing the point...we designed them to resemble skeleton ribs to go along with the skull.

There is nothing better than seeing the smiles on people's faces when they see it...especially the kids! We built it for fun and it has come alive! It scares me because I catch myself talking to it sometimes in my garage!!! It has been fun reading all of the responses from everyone...thank you for all of the compliments! For the people that don't like it...I feel sorry for you because you have obviously grown up and become another boring adult! I think Big Daddy Roth would have loved this cartoon rod! Thanks again! Be Wacko...Be Bonkers...Be Proud!

I "get it", and I like it. That Car will inspire a lot of Kids to get into the Hobby and that is something we need.

    And welcome to the HAMB.

Makes a little more sense now. That was my main negative point with the car. In the sunlight, the car looks like it glows.
