Thought you guys may dig this. My favorite photographer did a photo shoot at Gene Winfields shop http://www.lostamerica.com/winfield/
Some of the work done in the old days was pretty rough, especially by today's standards. Even when something looked good, under the surface there could be some crude metal work. I have seen some of Gene's workmanship in person and was really impressed. I have never talked to him, but have seen him at several events. He seems like a nice guy.
Those are some awesome pictures. I was just there for the Winfield and Watson show and got to walk around alot of those project cars and the ones waiting in the back. The photography is top notch.
Gene's place is awesome and a great place for photography. Love the photos! Blade Runner I think Doc.
I love lost America....awesome photography....was hoping for more! 6000 SUX was actually from the movie ROBOCOP....1987 I believe....(might be off a year....didnt feel like looking it up...) HOWEVER Winfeild actually built that propcar near as I can recollect.......
I discovered lost America a couple years ago while cruising for night time and/or cl***ic car photography. The guys got talent to say the least. Would love to visit some of the rural sites that he has and try experimenting in his style. Thanks for posting. moe .
