Is that the one that was rear ended and the gas tank ruptured? Video on here somewhere if it is.

Yet another reason I'm putting my stainless tank behind an 1/8th inch rear firewall, below the back window...rear mounted tanks scare the **** outta me.

  8. Mine in the Tudor is going to be under a bulkhead/firewall OPEN to the bottom. If hit the gas will hopefully run outta the car and not stay IN IT! Was looking at bladders and cell but can't find anything the right shape/size

Current online price is $350 without meeting the reserve. It has a LS6 under the hood.

if you play the video onthe 34 Ford it sounds like their revving the motor but theres noone in the car. Remote control or what?

I'm betting that '32 Vicky sees the street again. Someone with some sheet metal skills will have it back in shape. If the current bid holds it will be the bargain of the year.

There appears to be a smallish person laying in the seat.

many years ago, a friend and I were sitting at a light in Maple Ridge on the Lougheed hwy. We were eastbound, there was a woman sitting in a gold colored 80s Olds X-body westbound across the street from us. A guy in a '64 Galaxy with from what I heard later, a stuck throttle, hit her REALLY hard from behind, knocking her across the intersection so she was right next to us, on fire, BIG TIME. We tried to get her out of the car, couldn't open the doors, someone on the scene ran across the street to the rental place that was there in those days, came back with a couple fire extinguishers. I'm pretty sure she was unconcious(I keep hoping she was) but I could see her moving around a bit in the car. She was engulfed in flames. We unloaded both extinguishers, and used one to smash the drivers side window, but she was dead on the scene. I dont know if it would have made any difference, but when the firemen arrived, one of them mentioned to me that the doors had been locked from the inside, so there was no way in hell we would have got her out. The doors could have been too jammed to open anyway, but since then I NEVER drive around with the doors locked from the inside, and I always give my wife hell when she does it. Worst thing I have ever seen in my life, and I have seen some bad ****. I can still see it going down in my minds eye as if it was on video, and this happened 25 years ago.

The right hand headlight stand is bent, and the drivers side headlamp is missing completely. I can see the hood is slightly separated from the side panel, indicating a possible bent frame?

If you go through the photos on the 34 the grille is tagged "repo". My guess is the car was damaged when the tow truck hooked it or pulled it up on a ramp bed.

That green coupe is FUGLY.Great parts car though.Wonder if it's a Henry steel body?Edit, appears to be a real body?Still a good deal if the bidding doesn't go crazy.Needs a lot of work(front suspension replaced, new, shorter hood, grill replaced, etc.)to look decent, but from the firewall back it's not too hateful.

I looked at the two cars, the 33 coupe raises some questions as to the damage as a total. Just a broken headlight for $50.00 and and a bent $800 grille and some cosmetic bodywork doesn't add up to a totaled car to me on this deal. The doors seem to have decent lines so the frame cant be bent much if any. This thing has a salvage ***le so that bell is ringing. Looks like owner couldn't sell the car so they thought that the insurance company should own it. The 32 Vicky was the one on the earlier post going up in smoke. That has some good parts but that fire track looks pretty hot and from the way that paint is burned up from the upholstery fueling the fire, that metal got pretty hot. I would be really wary of the quality of the body steel after being heated so hot. The high heat softens the metal so much that it reacts differently after it has cooled down. Might be seeing it show up at the swap meet with a coat of primer to hide the burn marks with a sign that said it was just barn found.

It does not appear to be badly damaged, there is something fishy here.Maybe a bank repo being sold as is or the smallish person inside reving the motor is the ghost of the dude that died in it.

I believe this one is from one of the shop fires that happened a couple of months back.
