I tried to get a nice used set in the cl***ified's, but didn't find any without pitting..
Mine are shot, and i really need to either buy new one's, or get a nice set to re chrome..

I've looked in catologs, but i havn't come up with anybody that makes them..
Any help you guy's might have, in either direction in who to contact, or if you have a really nice set you don't need would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance..
    Tony.

I've checked with national chevy, and they don't make them.. I have an older chev's of the 40's cat, and didn't see 'em in there either...
    I'll check them again though.

I'd be happy with a set of relatively non pitted one's to rechrome, but i havn't even had any luck there..

I do appreciate the help anyway's..
    thanks.

Pardon my ignorance but what part is that exactly? I am parting out a 54 so I could check the condition of mine to see if they meet your needs.

It's the bezel at the base of the windshield, that go's over the wiper shaft onto the stainless trim.
It's held on by a spanner nut that threads on to the shaft itself..

    Thanks..

I'm suprised no one is re-popping them yet. I've yet to find an untouched pair that wer'nt pitted.
The joys of old pot metal.

I could sure use some for my 51.

I have bought a few things from **** Moffit's Chevy Parts in Springfield, Ohio. They have NOS, repops, Taiwan, USA, all sorts of stuff, and they are usually pretty up front about what you are getting. Most of my grille (a 51 grille on my 52 Chevy) came from them, and it was just as they described it over the phone... maybe a little better.

    Give them a call 937-325-7861

They re-plate a lot of their own inventory, so you might luck out and get some fresh ones from them.

    Slide,
Thanks a lot for the hook up.
I have a deal working now with another HAMBer who said he has some nice one's....
But, Moffit's sounds like a good place to check out anyway..

    Thanks.

call New Port Engineering (the windshield wiper folks) @ 636-239-1698. they don't make them, but if anyone does they'll know about it.

  17. Tony,
Glad to help. Packed and leaving in the AM. Prob see 'em by Friday or Monday. Didn't say if you had factory squirters, so I sent you ones off a B/A that had 'em. Let me know how they work out and I want to see pix of your car. This is why I love the HAMB. Helping people you've never met and making far away pals. Nice to know a friendly face where ever you land.
    Find those pix/threads?
