This was the fastest run yet since i got it.

Car: a truck, '58 F-100 to be exact.

Best E.T., thus far: 7.50 1/8th mile, @ 82 mph...
Easy launch, footbraking.

Grenaded the trans and coasted through the lights without ever experiencing high gear, with a 12.30 @ 43 mph...


No full passes on it yet, and no tuning, either...it's at the painters now...should be out in spring!

My son and I built it , daughter-in-law drives it....9.97 @ 136 . Opened a whole new world with tech rules now.

 

427 Ford powered, 11:60 on the motor in the 80's LACR

 

Bakersfield 1990. 427 Ford (same engine as Ranchero) 10:60 @128 mph, on the motor

 

Shown it here many times before, but 8.90's 1/4 mile back in the 77-78 period in So. Cal, area.
Showing my age here too.

 

11.86s at 110mph @ the HAMB drags this year! ALOT left in it!

 

Best so far is 10.61 @ 124, but it gets better each time. Looking for somewhere in the 9's and close to 150 before I'm done.

This shot is from the HAMB Drags this year. I was shooting for the tens, but it was 108 degrees and I didn't think she was going to do it, but she barely squeeked it out...10.98 @ 124.5



She has a bunch more in her with slicks and cool weather..

I'm sure most folks are sick of my junk as I have a build thread on it, but what the hell. The 377 makes over 500 hp and the truck was a Hot Rod Yearbook feature back in 73. It made it's return to the track after a 3 year rebuild.

We`ve gone 11.01 @ 116 with a great 1.44 60ft and 6.84 8th

Still looking for consistent 10:90s

Then maybe I'll look at adding that nasty little .685 roller cam that keeps calling to me...

Really it was 108 I knew it was hot but damn! I feel good about my 11.80 now!

 

7.47 at 189.9mph 5.0in the eighth on alchohol big tires 14-71 blower 7.87/184 on 50% nitro 10 inch tires 6-71 blower straight axle there is nothing like chrysler engineering

My small block Dodge Dart has been 11.43 @ 114 in the 1/4 and 7.23 @ 94 in the 1/8 so far.Has 120 trouble free passes on it (knock on wood) .Theres another in car vid in the link in my signature ...

 

8:60's @160mph fast and consistant

 

Ha! Except for that 6-71 Blower which is GMC engineering!

 

Car in Avatar = 11.8/119...just as it sits...

 

Should go low 12's if I can get it to hook. Hamb drags 2009. Car is for sale.
