Just got the ch***is painted on the '34 3W window this morning. So decided to do a mock-up and show some shots of the ch***is.
Have also completed the interior since my last post
Still a few things to do before final ***embly, but it is all shaping up well

Thankyou for the kind words Joel.
Got a bit more done today. Decided to make an inner skin for the deck lid. It came out OK, although proportionally the holes should be smaller. The next one I make they will be smaller and the skin will have more of the factory pressings and ***orted small bolt holes etc. This is made from very aluminium building flashing! Am yet to attach the inner skin and paint it.
Attached are a few shots, one is looking into the interior.

I've been in a circle track mood so this Offy powered sprint car is my latest. For those who aren't familiar with model kits, this is converted from a '70s era sprint car kit that has a full roll cage and small block Chevy engine. The Offy engine I used came from an Indy car kit and the rear tires are drag slicks that I grooved by hand.

Thanx! The wheels and tires are sold as a set by Modelhaus ( http://www.modelhaus.com/ , Item T-640 on page 4 of Tires under Parts). I think the slightly oversize diameter of 18" Divcos tightens up the stance and at***ude of the roadster which is why I used them.

    Great pics. Thanks for posting.

I build models during the winter months. I only seem to get time to build 1 or 2 model cars till spring comes and I get back to my real car. I'm working on a '60 Chev model right now. If it turns out good I will post a pic on a future Sunday models.
