I picked up a 1953 Henry J Last year Now for the build! Pictures to come. ~Straight axle. ~ford 460 ~Baby blue!!!
Wow, working in the gr*** eh? Thank you for cutting off that nasty old front frame clip. Looking forward to more.
Sweet henry J's are taking over how many henry J g***er builds does that make this year. I think at least 4 that I know of. Good luck man.
Isn't it cool 9 bolts and the whole front nose comes off in 1 piece. And he's putting a ford motor in it too. Can't wait to see more pictures.
I would get a longer level and keep checking it to make sure it's not setteling in the dirt before final welding. It does look like a good start, what's the plans for the rear fenderwells ? I see they are in the stock shape but raised to the body line allready.
The outdoor pictures remind me of my hot rodding days.........pre1965(the year I got my first garage/shop). After working in my shirt sleeves (inside a warm shop) when it was -10 outside I became spoiled. Moving the thermostat up a few degrees sure beats trying to move frozen stiff fingers. Frank
Go, man, go! You are carrying on a fine tradition (building outdoors), you're really old school! Good Luck!
