I`m getting ready to redo the engine comp. in my 52 plymouth wagon. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what color the engine should be? Thanks

The 46-48 Plymouth Flathead 6 was silver in color.

I believe they were all silver. Except for the Mid 30s. Mid 30s had black blocks with a silver head.

I have a '52 217 in my '48 Plymouth. The block is silver and the cylinder head is red. Try the p15-d24.com website. I know it's for different years, but it might be helpful.

As mentioned above, silver is correct.
