That looks good. Your car recalls the Bishop/ Tardel AV8 project. ( Get the book). Now yer got me thinkin' hood sides !
I've got the book . And hood sides will be in the works. I want to build a full 3 piece aluminum hood for this one. Thanks again for the sketch Well using flex pipe on a 78 camaro to go over the axle is cheap, but I was thinking more along the lines of this. Pretty hard to call this "cheap"
I like them alot! looks good its not like its something somebody couldnt of dreamed up in the 30s or 40s. it will probably sound mean on that flatty
Sorry, but that flex pipe looks like ****, something you would cobble up after a trip to Auto Zone or Pep Boys (or Canadian tire up here) because you didn't have the talent to do something better. Regardless of that shiny car you posted, I think they do look cheap. Can we say Mickey mouse ?
Looks fine to me.....And you built them! Only suggestion I would make would be to shorten each one a bit so they are all different lengths (by about one inch) But go for it YOUR way!! On edit....I am referring to the first ones....
I feel the rear tube gets to close to the body the front two should raise up a little. letting the 3rd rear tube go under and finish inside the others? sorry for the critique. your car looks awesome thanks for the show.
I like them. i think the middle tube would look good coming over the top of the other two and centered as it flows down, then a collector on the end. would look like a fendewell style. I built my own too for my bucket, it was a rewarding but time consuming deal. good job.
The more i think about it, it makes me think if you had enough old pics from Mirage or Bonneville, you would probably see flex run just like that. I like the large radius sweeps of the pipes, looks older styled to me.
