I have seen the car three times today and it was spotted as well by 53OLDS. Owner and police have been notified. Come on Willamette Valley HAMBERS lets get this guy

 

You saw the car 3 times and were not able to follow it ?

 

Didnt know it was stolen till I just got home and on the HAMB.

 

I just thought someone in town had a real cool car I hadn't seen before.

 

Yeah I spotted it on way to change my sisters tire on her car and so I txted A Rodder and he went and looked for it..Will definately keep my eyes open now. And will post more info when time comes..

 

Keep on it guys and get this guys car back. Bust these lowlife *******s.

We'll be keeping a look out in the Portland area, but it seems that this jerk is more inclined to flaunt his ill gotten prize in the central valley.

 

Car was just recovered 5 minutes ago. Thief got pulled over and arrested RIGHT IN FRONT OF POLICE STATION!!! A Rodder just called me, he is heading down and taking pics so stay tuned! Thank you A Rodder and the Hamb. And just think if I hadn't have seen it today it would still be missing...

On my way home I checked my text messages and 53OLDS said he seen the roadster that was listed on here as stolen. So then I came home and confirmed the story.

I proceeded to call the owner and then the police. Unfortunately the police wouldn't take my report as the car wasn't reported stolen in the database. I called the county it was reported in and told them it wasn't coming up in the registry for stolen vehicles. It was data entried wrong.

I then set out on the hunt calling all my hot rod buddies,

As I am driving around I am calling all my buddies, no kidding the first six people I call have seen the car.

 

As I am in the downtown area where it was seen I have a patrolman with lights going coming up behind me, honestly I didn't think much of it and I turn off and keep scouring the side streets.

Then a short while later I get a call from Tom, the owner saying the guy is in custody and rather than him having to pick the car up at an impound yard, to come get the car.

 

This is so freakin awesome.
