When do we start on the registration for the Grand National Roadster Show. What type of pictures are needed to be approved to the show and what are the cost as well. Is set up day on Thursday and is moving day Sunday. Let me know what I need to do.

    Thanks for the help

Applications will be ready very soon and we will be announcing the "Special theme building" soon as well. Suede Palace is going to go off again! Remember not to send in your app's at the last minute. Due to the popularity of the event it will fill up quickly. Cars accepted in one of the buildings move in on Wednesday evening or all day Thursday. Outside "Drive in" cars move in on Friday for Suede or Saturday/Sunday for everything else. Hope that wasn't too confusing. Thanks, Axle

you'll have no problem getting accepted with that ford. put it in the suede palace, all the other halls are high dollar trailer queens and muscle cars.

Thanks Axle for the heads up on this show I am looking forward for this one. The only one problem I do not have any mufflers in my exhaust no wipers and no horns do I need to have all of them done before the show.

    Thanks

No mufflers, no wipers, and no horn? Thats not good. I hear they won't let you in if your horn doesn't work at the gate.

I can put in baffles in the exhaust and install my horn easy enough but no wipers. It will be the car to your left.

    Thanks

Whatever it takes to get to and be in the show, go for it! It is a GREAT event. Well worth the effort. Even if your car is not in the show, it is an awesome event.

I received an e mail in regard to the GN in Pomona. I have it filled out the application and ready to mail but I was looking in the rule book in regard to not having mufflers inside the pipes and no wipers I did not see anything about not been able to enter your car. The horn should not be a problem I can install one. If anyone knows anything about these two issues let me know.

    Thanks !

I love the rules requiring the cars to actually be cars nowadays as opposed to the old days of chromed brakes and gutted engines and ******s making them display pieces only. If I had it my way, there'd be a 100 mile driven poker run you had to do to prove it's an actual car before driving your car to it's display space! That goes for the AMBR cars too. But then, that's just me. Your mileage may vary.

    Hi Frenchy,

This is John Buck the promoter of the show. Axle will be calling you and others this week to discuss your great car and the status of the application. We have your paperwork and look forward to seeing you in Pomona. Either inside the hall or out side the Suede Palace rocks. All the best! John

For someone who'd be flying in for the weekend and also be obligated to do things besides just attend the GNRS, what's the best day to be there? Are shops like the Early Ford Store and So-Cal usually closed that Thursday afternoon and Friday?

I may have to wait for next year's show as I waited to long to register. I received a call from Axle to let me know that at this time he could have a space for me outside the main entry to the suede building. No one fault but mine. I waited to long I would rather be inside the building under the lighting for the first show. Thanks to everyone who e mailed me.
