Hi. I'm Garney from Ontario Canada just outside of Toronto. I have been involved with hot rods for pretty much all of my adult life. I have been collecting flathead speed parts since the 1970's and have an excellent knowledge of flathead speed equipment. I am currently working on a 1927 roadster that raced on the California dry lakes back in the late 1940's and a 1964 Dragmaster dragster 120" that I got from Bruce Dahl before he p***ed away. My daily driver during the summer months is a 1929 Ford coupe on a 32 ch***is that was originally built in Atlanta GA. in 1950. I have a 1929 roadster as well that I take to the occasional indoor car show in the winter months. The car was at the Detroit Autorama two or three years ago. It was built to look exactly like the Bud Bryan highboy that was in Rod & Custom magazine back in the 70's. I have a 1932 roadster as well that is currently in the planning and parts collecting stage and is going to be a remake of the Doane Spencer 32. This is going to be a difficult project to pull off correctly and is the main reason that I am joining the H.A.M.B. I may need some help here from time to time. Every car I have is flathead powered. I am looking forward to meeting new members who share the same interests that I do.

Thanks for the kind words. Bruce was a good friend for a lot of years. I have several flathead intakes that I got from Bruce just before he p***ed away. I have taken good care of them. I am currently working on Bruce's dragster. The flathead engine is at Ron SanGiovanni's right now getting redone. Bruce had plans for Wade and himself to campaign the dragster but it didn't happen. - Garney

Really nice 32 you have here! Very nicely done! I'm doing some research on the Doane Spencer roadster and could I ask you some tech questions about your car and the actual Doane Spencer roadster? Thanks for the reply and the kind words. - Garney
