Anybody know of a 62-64 Impala with a Starliner roof on it? Friend of mine was telling me he thought there was one floating around out there. The only car I could think of was the T-Bird with the Starliner Roof on it.

I thought it was a MOPAR roof. Cheezwiz converted a reg. Impala to a Bubble recently. Anyone else?

That is not a Starliner roof it is a Plymouth roof on the red 63 shown above.

The roof on the Impala is from a '60 Fury. I got all the parts from the car they cut up to do the swap. The windshield on the car is Impala, they joined the roofs just above the windshield. Looks nice on there although it's a shame to have cut up such a nice solid Fury hardtop to do it (the donor car was way nicer than it needed to be, IMO) I'm glad to have gotten what was left of it.

    Sorry, you guy's lost me.

I was thinking of the stock '61 to ?? big Chevy "bubble tops" from way back then.

And as for a great roof line, try the '63-1/2 Ford 500 Galaxy(Sp?) XL hard-top.

Not a Starliner roof, looks more like '61 Dodge.

Wow! Those are great looking cars. Who would have thought that something other than the stock roof line would look so killer ***y??? I for one have always loved the stock roof lines on the '62-'64 Pimpalas, but, admitedly, I love that now too.
