Was 17,900 the final price? My guess was mid 30s up. Might have been more damage than I could see,but I would rather have that than A Brookville coupe, and they are nice.
If it is the burned Vicky i'm thinking of that is at crankyape not copart with another day to go at $6300.00. The copart Vicky, I didn't know about and just took a cruise through that site like an hour ago.
It wasn't the vicky that was burned all the way up (the one in the video) This one had no engine, no grill shell, no radiator, no hood, burn damage on the top of the cowl and over the top of the car. The roof insert was off but the interior didn't look to be burned, just smoked. It was a dark blue car, full fendered, red interior, with red wires. Looked like a vega cross steer with a stock firewall also. The listing had it down for a $150,000 loss. It was burned a little but it looked decent in the pics. I tried to get a link to work but I don't think copart has a completed auction page.
I was intrested but the cost to get registered was more than I would risk, $600 bucks, but they would give you 400 back if you won an auction.
it wasn't hurt bad at all ....pics were posted on here , of it in the shop it was burnt in. the damage appeared to be from a car cover.... i'd take a uneducated guess and say it will stay in the bay area any hamb'rs hit on it from texas or m***...? crazy thing ....who'd ever guess there would be 2 dark blue 32 vicky's that were burnt and from the same area , avalible at the same time.....?
if you click say "cl***ics" ...after it pops up the list with pics , hit the year header . then they are arranged by oldest to newest. its a cool site , but theres been a LOT of old stuff show up toasted lately...
Brandon, i'm not sure what happened but that is what I thought I did earlier. I see it now, thanks. Current bid is $9300. Something isn't right. When i looked earlier the first thing was the 1930 ford and it had a $475 bid i believe and now it is $200. Then it went to the 36. Oh well at least I found it and got to see the pictures. I'm going back over to take a closer look.
Bad Rod, that is the wrong car. That is the one that was just sold on the other site for $15,200. They also just sold a 34 ford coupe that ended at $31,551.
I found pictures of the other vicky that burned before the fire, it was at Pleasanton, Goodguys. Did anyone ever find out where it went or who got it?
