    Rest in peace Rufus.
This picture is from Sweden, and I´m driving. We won almost every race, and it only braked down ones, we had the heads done by Bob Mullen and first run out it broked a valve, major repair and update and back to the track for more victory. What cool memory that comes to mind when I´m typing, hope my english is ok.

I´m sorry that we didn´t meet Rufus, I know you know that we did take good care of the car, this Brooklyn Heavy 73 Duster. I had a very great time with the car between 1975 to 1982. And it became my best car deal of my life. And of course my partner Peter.
If some one out there have pictures and film I would love to see that.
To al of you A Mery Christmas.

My all time favorite drag car. Everything with this car is right. I had the pleasure to crew on it a few years back.
    R.I.P big man.

Great having you here Lars. I crewed on BH when it was in Malmoe, run by Joakim and Christer. I remember your racing at Mantorp and I was totally hooked when I saw your car. Great having you on the HAMB, the coolest place on the net

I grew up a few blocks from Carmen Rotunda’s garage. When I was 17 in 1971 I bought a 1966 GTO and I got all my parts from Rotunda’s Speed Shop. I used to see Carmen and Heavy at English Town Race Track all the time. My last 2 years of HS I worked at a gas station 3 blocks from Rotunda’s garage. One day Heavy and Carmen pulled in my gas station in Carmen’s Lincoln and I got distracted and I forgot to collect 10 dollars for gas. At that time I making 80 cents an hour. That hurt. The way I see it they still owe me money.

Rufus "Brooklyn Heavy" Boyd was larger then life legend in East Coast Drag Racing and street racing for a while and nobody did it better then he did.
    Rest in peace.
Below are a few of the decals he had on many of his cars.
