Yeah, the weather men are asses.
Still looking forward to seeing everyone, and I just got word that there will be chili to warm us up at the food stop, so nobody sit behind me at the theatre.

They've changed Saturday's forecast again, now calling for only a 20% chance of precipitation. Still gonna be chilly at 38deg but that's alot better than snow and 30deg that they called for just a few hours ago. Too bad it's going to be near 60 tomorrow, would be nice to hold on to that for a day :)

Anxious to get this underway! Anyone coming to Gypsum for the start, we will meet at Scanlan Hardware (my uncle's store) on Main Street (our only paved street, it's also K4 highway).
    <iframe marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Scanlan+Hardware,+Gypsum,+KS&sll=38.371599,-97.639736&sspn=0.006763,0.016512&gl=us&g=euclid+street+%26+baer+street+mcpherson+KS&ie=UTF8&hq=Scanlan+Hardware,&hnear=Gypsum,+Saline,+Kansas&ll=38.705198,-97.427254&spn=0.006295,0.006295&output=embed" frameborder="0" height="350" scrolling="no" width="425"></iframe>

For those meeting at McPherson College be ready to be on the tour at 11:45am and meet here <iframe marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=euclid+street+%26+baer+street+mcpherson+KS&sll=38.37154,-97.642617&sspn=0.006763,0.016512&gl=us&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=N+Baer+St+%26+Euclid+St,+McPherson,+Kansas+67460&ll=38.37154,-97.642579&spn=0.006763,0.016512&z=14&output=embed" frameborder="0" height="350" scrolling="no" width="425"></iframe>

Around 1:30 pm we should arrive at the Kansas Motorcycle Museum in Marquette, KS. I realize that I may not be leaving us much time but some people are driving a long way to get here, so I didn't want to make the day any longer for them than it had to be. Here is where the museum is.

    <iframe marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Kansas+Motorcycle+Museum,+Marquette,+KS&sll=38.705025,-97.427455&sspn=0.003261,0.008256&gl=us&ie=UTF8&hq=Kansas+Motorcycle+Museum,&hnear=Marquette,+McPherson,+Kansas&ll=38.554143,-97.83347&spn=0.006295,0.006295&output=embed" frameborder="0" height="350" scrolling="no" width="425"></iframe>

The next stop is Calvin Customs in Salina. Calvin will expect us to roll in between 3 and 3:30pm. His shop is

From there it's 1 block south to the Paramount bar for some Chili and hot dogs and such (not gourmet but hey it's warm food in a warm building :) )

And then at 6pm we will be showing the new 2010 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular DVD by Vintage Torque (aka Coolstuff). There will be copies on hand for sale after the showing, a great item to give yourself for Christmas or someone else. The fact that some of my photos are a slideshow in the DVD has no bearing on my feelings of how cool this DVD is :)

    The Stiefel is here :

    <iframe marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Stiefel+Theatre-The+Performing,+Salina,+KS&sll=38.846184,-97.609459&sspn=0.006718,0.016512&gl=us&g=325+n.+santa+fe+Salina+KS&ie=UTF8&hq=Stiefel+Theatre-The+Performing,&hnear=Salina,+Saline,+Kansas&ll=38.838536,-97.608739&spn=0.006295,0.006295&output=embed" frameborder="0" height="350" scrolling="no" width="425"></iframe>

Email me from here if you have any further questions!

I expect you all to buy a copy of the DVD so that we have to have Coolstuff ship some more over, if you want to order a copy from him now and have it shipped to you go to Vintage Torque's website!

Sorry to hear that brother, if there's anything you need, just ask. I'll try to take enough shots to make you feel like you were there anyways :)

    Take care,

Yep, same bar. We enjoyed our time there yesterday drinking beer, eating chili dogs and fritos, and shooting the bull. Nice and cozy in there.

No, that's the front window of Calvin Customs shop in Salina.
I drive thru El Dorado all the time and geek out through the windows of that place every time.

Thanks for joining us! I should have got a picture of the 3 Galaxies all together but it was just too damn cold to be standing in that wind for any amount of time. I have the camera hooked up to the computer right now, hopefully will have some pics up later tonight.

You should have seen the DVD on the big screen at the theatre it was just plain awesome! Vintage Torque DVD's are always cool!

I only took a few photos because Travis, Neal and Duane were snapping away like madmen! Here is a photo from the Kansas Motorcycle Museum in Marquette, KS. From the left is my personal bodyguard Gasserlouie from Lincoln, NE, my nephew and tour guide Travisfromkansas, my favorite brother in law (and Travis' dad) Lawrence, and Trav's girlfriend Amanda.
