crushing a 52 Chevy coupe is like tossing $100.00 bills out the window. every useable part you can cut off or unbolt will sell on ebay. the front suspension parts would sell for more than what he'll get for s****.

I applaud you for trying to save as much of these cars as you can giving them a 2nd chance and giving a chance for others to get a car before its 2 late. I tip my hat 2 you sir.....

IndyG***er, I sure agree with Kustomline54, it's a great HAMBer who offers to help other HAMBers like this -- and RottenRods to offer to pitch in!

Probably not much chance, but if the guy happens to have a '56 DeSoto, I've been looking for a four-barrel intake for two years. I'd be happy just to find the 4-B manifold, no carb needed. Do you remember seeing a '56 DeS there with its Hemi still in it?

Thanks, IndyG***er. No need to knock yourself out, buddy. If it's gone, it's gone.

Hey, buddy, how far is the yard from your home? Would it be handy for you to take a few cell-phone pix of the gold '56 DeSoto? If you get too busy there, don't worry about it.

Is this place near the town in your signature? I live about 3 hours away and have from x-mas to new years off. Would like to see what he has.

    Thanks.

Hey, man, can't do anything about Mother Nature, right? Sorry you had to waste the gas and time though.

I hope the guy realizes that it's December, and guys just like you would like to save cars and parts.
