The Ford pickup (3rd picture) is a '39 rather than '38, or at least it's got a '39 grille. There's a '37 Ford truck grille in the middle picture.
im just north of the upstate N.Y. border looking for a cheap early 30s body for a roadster p/u let us know when your done. Looks like lots of projects.
Its not all for sale. There is some other stuff in the garage That he will not part with. some of the cars outside belongs to his sons. probably some sentimetal value.
Well, I sure would like to take a ride to NY and give this guy a donation! How's about hookin some Hamb brothers up with a bit of info..... We promise to let you get what you need first, finders keepers and all, but damn man quit being so tight lipped on us! LOL CHUCK
All gone, he died in like 2006, kids crushed about 95% of it and sold the land. Stuff in there that would make you cry like a baby to know it got crushed. I remember opening the hood on one '59 Pontiac ragtop to find the tri-power still there. We saved a few of them, but you get ripped into by assholes for trying to make a buck quick and go grab some more before they're gone, you get sick of it after a while. But we weren't the only ones who got in there before it went.
Hey Phil,ol buddy.Remember me?I took you all over when you got here,Lebanon swap meet.showed you Rolling Bones, introed you to Rick, carted your ass all over the place. No sense in stopping by to give me an update.
Hey Bob. I whent out Last Sunday With a Guy From work. That is My fist Day off since that Day we whent to that Swap meet. That is when wee found this place. I have not forgotten you. Some of the guys I work with know you. Are you going to be around Saterday night? If so what kind of beer do you drink?
Labatt Blue! I don't want to get to drunk! I might spill the beans on the new hot spot. I know you can keep a secret. lol.
Down the road aways was his moms house, there were a bunch of merc and some other cool stuff her property, do you know if that was crushed as well?
Ha ha there's to many Phil's in this thread, but since that's my name too......How about that location when he tells you, after you get him drunk on the blue ?
If I take any thing out of there I will be needing a hand. The cars are just covered with parts and junk.
Depending where and when, I'm game. I'm in NY near Utica, and I'm definitely up for a bit of fun in a old boneyard. It's been a while since I've been to a good one.
