This thread inspired me to take my A for a ride around town (well actually I had to go pick some stuff for my mom so I made it worth my time). Here is a couple pictures I took of my car when I got home, I don't think it's really 60's style now but maybe once I clean up my motor and add the 6x2 intake it will look a bit better.

Most of the best parts were made and sold in the sixties.

 

So nice to see one with a stock height top and on an A frame! Pretty much how I intend to do mine. Super nice!

This is about as Sixties as it gets - it was built in the late 60's! Other than the Air cleaner, Radiator puke can and late valve covers, it hasn't been changed. And those have been pulled off now, along with new headers and the "bolt on louvers" removed! It will be at LARS for sale if anyone is interested

 

Been following this thread for awhile and definitely drew much inspiration for my coupe.

Got a new set of quarters from a fellow HAMBer on the way, so the backside should look a little better in the coming months.

 

I dig that coupe. Wish I saw it at the LSRU but I must've missed it..

Heres mine. I just dragged it outa the corner after a year off. I think it fits the mid 60's? i have a 327 from 65 all rebuilt and ready to go, i hope to have it done by spring but i still have not decided on finishes.

 

Will have it there for sure, hopefully with new rear quarters and an even coat of primer at least -
