Hey cats and bettys!, im new to h.a.m.b. And im from n/e indiana, im into anything old and loud! I just finished my first hot rod this fall and got to drive it. Its a 27 hudson pickup, yea i know they never built a pickup in 27, well i did! I started with a bare original hudson frame, and a four door sedan that was cut down to a suicide door truck cab, i channelled the cab 7 inches over the frame, it has a new straight axle, and 57 ford fairlane 9" rear with a four link and coil overs. I used a 30's dodge bed and chopped it four inches down the middle and 2 feet off the length, it runs a 300 ford six that my late father built, and a 4 speed (of course) the 300 is built to the max and runs a custom grind camshaft, has ported and polished head, four barrel, (soon to have the tripower i have for it) and i hand built the custom exhaust. I will get pics of it up on here soon, or if you want to see it you can look it up on youtube just type in hellsgaterods or 27 hudson and check it out. I look forward to sharing and learning more about our passion. Thanks for checkin me out
