Hi, I'm Glen. I'm an old fart. I've been bust'n knuckles since I was a kid. Most of my projects have been old Chevys of the fifties and sixties. I love the challenge of bringing a discard back to life or finding it an adoptive new home. I really don't know how many cars and trucks I have bought, traded, or hauled off. My last count for just 1956 Chevy cars was 32. I know my way around a 56. I have owned 7 El Caminos. I have built numerous 55, 56, and 57 trucks. My son said that I should go to OCA for help. My 56 Nomad arrived ten years ago in boxes. It is my "Dream Car" It's dropped four inches, Original style Belair paint and trim (red and white), Old Original International Drag Master mags tucked into the fenders. Presently working out Mods for a 90 Vette Tuned Port L98 and 700R4 trans to move it. Used a 58" wide 90 Pontiac Gand Prix rear axle to manage to fit the 265 BFGs on the 16" Drag Master's. My 56 Chevy Sedan Delivery is still in hundreds of pieces. It is a rare window model (no steel panel sides). I have been slowly putting it back together over the past five years. Someday... My 64 C10 Shorty has been My "Fun Rod". I bought it from a dead guy. He parked it out in a field 13 years ago, put it in non-op and died himself. I got it two years ago from the family. I stripped out the entire ch***is and rebuilt it with 72 and 82 C10 ch***is parts to get the nice stuff like power steering and disc brakes. I Dropped it 5 inches, Used the Deep dish 82 C10 rally wheels. Rebuilt a 64 327 fuelie, but put a 66 750cc Quadrajet and matching intake. The transmission is an NP M2Y manual overdrive. The rear end is a 72 C10 12 bolt 373. The 38 Chevy Pickup is what brought me to H.A.M.B. It has been shuffled around for the last thirty years as someone's hope to be a Hot Rod. It has had some attempts made on it. I started checking out different ideas on how best to get this baby down and on the road. I went through the (Chevy) S10 Ch***is swap thread numerous times here. Today I bought a donor 92 Chevy S10 to start the work. I hope I didn't bore you all with the jabber. I'll try to get some pictures of my rides soon. Mad Glen
