Looking for some advice on how to remove or where to get the tool to remove the side belt trim on my 51' chevy sport coupe. The trim over the back deck has nuts that come off but the side trim under the rear windows has what looks like sheet metal screws holding it in, and the trim is so tight on the body it would appear that a tool will not fit? Any suggestions?

i just went through that. and it is diff from a 4 door. it has a back plate that is screwed from the outside in and then they slide the chrome over it starting at the door.it slides off as well but i couldnt get mine to slide so i had to take it lose from the back and the backing plate was so rusted that i could just for lack of a better word just peal it off without messing up my chrome.and then you can get the back plate off with a screwdriver.i will have to replace atleast one of my back plates cause it was rusted almost to powder.

Hate to bust your balls HAYDEN1951 but you need to do an intro on the intro page, sorry forum rules, some people get a little upset about it.
